February 2010 Round-Up

Sorry the blog's been neglected for a few days. I got a cold last week and got worse and worse as the week went on until I finally had to stay home from work on Friday and spent the weekend on the couch trying to recoup. Thanks to my wonderful hubby taking care of me, I'm feeling much better now. We've also had some SUPER exciting house stuff going on around here the last few days so tonight is my first night at home this week. That said...let's round up February.

What books and/or magazines did I read this month?
Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin. Storycatcher by Kristina Baldwin (LOVED this!). Family Circle. Country Living. Indianapolis Monthly (thanks Irene!). Better Homes and Gardens.

What movies, television shows, plays, etc. did I watch this month?
The opening ceremonies of the Winter Olympics (disappointing…nothing will ever live up to the Beijing opening ceremonies), and a few of the events. The Amazing Race started again on the 14th (yay!).

What fun things did I do with my family and/or friends?
Went to Michigan with Cass. Had a couple birthday celebrations at Cheeseburger Night.

What gifts did I give and/or receive?
Chocolates from Norm for Valentine’s Day. An unexpected Indianapolis Monthly magazine subscription from Irene.

What special/unusual purchases did I make this month?
Metal index card drawers and tabbed cards for my LOM category drawers. Digi scrapping supplies from Designer Digitals.

What were my accomplishments this month?
Staying caught up on my Design Your Life scrapbooking class while also starting Library of Memories. Finally started Carbonite, an online back up of my computer. It’s only going to take 24 days to complete, but then it will back up automatically.

What were my disappointments this month?
Got so excited about the ongoing house saga…only to be disappointed to find out we weren’t going to be able to have a showing for at least two weeks. Norm was sick for about a week, then the loser gave it to me and I ended up missing work for the first time in three years.
