So, this is it. The end of my 365 Project. I definitely have mixed feelings about it coming to an end. I'm glad it's done. No more toting my big SLR everywhere I go, worrying about it getting scratched. No more getting ready for bed and realizing I haven't taken a picture today.
But I'm also sad it's over. It's been a fun project, and everyone knows I love assigning myself projects. I'm afraid my blog will end up pretty neglected without automatic content to post every week. And there are still a few pictures in my '365 Inspiration' folder that I never took. But I'm okay with that. I'm ready to get these 365 pictures documented and move on to something new in 2010. My 365 Project is so 2009.
This project has taught me a few things. I'm definitely a better photographer. I'm less afraid to whip out my camera and take pictures in public. And I learned that our dark little house has great light in the early afternoon over the kitchen sink.
As much work as this project involved, I think I probably will do another 365 project. I think I'd like to do one when we have our first baby, starting the day of the birth. We'll see. It was tough for me to keep up with this time, with no baby to feed and diapers to change.
So, in 365 days I took 8 pictures of Norm and I, 8 pictures of my Mac, and 7 pictures of the cows. I took 38 pictures of myself, 17 pictures of Oscar, 14 pictures of sunrises or sunsets, 18 pictures of flowers, and 29 pictures of Norm, along with the other 226 miscellaneous pictures. Out of all of these, I narrowed my many favorites down to this one. I'm not sure what it is, but I love it.
Anyone want to start their own 365 Project today?? You've still got a few minutes of daylight!
