Frost, Frost, and More Frost

Last Friday, Rodney picked Norm up at 6am to go to the farm show in Louisville. From my place in our nice warm bed, I heard Rodney say something like, "tell Nicole to get her camera out because the frost is about a foot thick outside". I thought "hmmm...", rolled over, and went back to sleep. By the time I got up, showered, and had breakfast, I'd totally forgotten...until I went out to start my truck. Holy cow! Oscar and I roamed around the yard while my truck was warming up, and I took my camera with me to work to grab a few shots on the way...

Saturday when I left for the bank I saw we had some crazy frost again. Our clothesline looked so neat...

I'm not sure what he thought it was, but Oscar was convinced there was something in the snow drift on the fencerow.

I don't think I posted this earlier of our new cow baby. Norm hand-made this super fancy cow crib (actually a hay feeder, but she just keeps insisting on laying in it).

Oh, and I wanted to say a belated Happy Valentine's Day to everyone. Our boss brought us some yummy sugar cookies on Friday. Hope your Valentine's Day was sweet!

the frost photos are gorgeous, I especially like the one of the tips of the branches all covered, and the calf in the hay rack is so cute. Just glad I'm not there to see the frost in person...

The frost pics look great! What a unique thing to see on everything. The snow here was pretty, but not so exciting anymore.
