Another Snow Day

A couple weeks ago we had some serious snow fall over a few days. Not like a foot or anything, but enough to make it difficult for some people to get to work and to be an annoyance to the rest of us. And although it was annoying and makes driving a pain and I’d be perfectly happy for that to be our last snow this year (ha!), it was still beautiful and I couldn’t resist taking pictures on the way to work (yes, I drive 30mph on the curvy, hilly road to work in 7 inches of snow with my window down and a camera in one hand and I make it just fine thankyouverymuch).

I just noticed the reflection in my hood. Cool!

Finally almost home...

Snow Day

When I got home Oscar and I took a little walk around the yard for some more snowy pictures.

Snow Day

This is what I usually get when I’m trying to take his picture.

Snow Day

There we go. Can you see his nose his already heading to his left to check out what’s going on over there? Jeez.

Snow Day

The cows were not as impressed with the snow as Oscar and I were. Opus especially was a little annoyed with my enthusiasm for the snow.

Snow Day

The wind was whipping around the house and filling in between our storm windows and the screen. Check out our heart!

Snow Day

It was enough snow that the bartender and waitresses at Cheeseburger Night couldn’t make it, but by gosh were were going to! This was what the road looked like on the way to Kingman.

Snow Day

Luckily Norm was driving so I could snap a few pictures. Of course, I drive on the way home, so no pictures of how much worse the road got while we were there.

Oh wait! I forgot...I can totally drive in the snow with a camera in one hand!

Nice to see pics of home. Back in the day my Mom drove the snowmobile to work. This was when she worked at the post office in Kingman. Crazy lady!

These are really good shots! I love snow shots (especially that night picture)! These seem kind of dangerous, though...
