Pawtucket Red Sox vs. Indianapolis Indians

Saturday night Norm, Cass, Blaise and I made our way downtown to Victory Field for a little minor league baseball. The Indianapolis Indians were playing the Boston's AAA affiliate, the Pawtucket Red Sox, so I was quite excited to wear my Red Sox hat. The weather was gorgeous!

Of course, Cass and I walked around and took pictures. And once again, we had someone ask if we are professionals. Since we don't know when you're considered a "professional", we've decided we're going to start saying "I spend a lot of money on gear...does that count?".

We walked right down to the first row by the visitors dug out and snapped away until a security guard came and stood over us and said "uh...you're gonna have to go now". Yes sir.

The weather went from great, to okay, to bad...to worse.

Around the 7th inning, the lighting really started picking up.

This is when they mumbled something on the speakers "mmmhummbleduhbumblemmm...advised to take cover". Crrraaaaappppp.

Shortly thereafter, we each bought a $5 plastic poncho, I tucked my camera in my armpit under my sweatshirt under my poncho, and we ran for the car three blocks away. We were drenched...but all electronic equipment came out just fine!
